Overview
Safe2Meet App, LLC ("Safe2Meet," "we," "us," or "our") may provide optional SMS communications to enhance account security and user awareness. This page explains what those messages are, how they work, and how you can manage your preferences.
Important: SMS messaging is not required to create or use a Safe2Meet account. You choose whether to enable SMS notifications.
What Messages We Send
If you choose to enable SMS notifications, Safe2Meet may send the following types of messages:
- Verification codes for account authentication
- Login alerts for new or unrecognized sign-ins
- Device-change notifications
- Other security-related account updates
Safe2Meet does not use SMS for marketing, promotional offers, or advertising purposes. All SMS communications are strictly limited to authentication, account security, and user-initiated activity.
Your Choice to Receive SMS
SMS notifications are entirely optional. You are not required to provide a phone number or enable SMS messaging to register for or use Safe2Meet. Users who choose to enable SMS notifications may do so through the Safe2Meet mobile application and may disable them at any time through the same settings.
Safe2Meet also supports non-SMS verification methods, and SMS is not required to create or use an account.
How to Opt Out or Get Help
If you have enabled SMS notifications and wish to stop receiving non-essential messages, you may opt out at any time using the following methods:
Reply STOP
Reply STOP to any Safe2Meet SMS message to opt out of non-essential notifications. You will receive a confirmation message.
Reply HELP
Reply HELP to any Safe2Meet SMS message to receive assistance or contact information for our support team.
You may also manage your SMS preferences at any time through the Safe2Meet mobile application under your account settings.
Message & Data Rates
Standard messaging and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and service plan. Safe2Meet is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier. Please contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.
SMS Delivery
Safe2Meet uses third-party SMS delivery providers to transmit messages. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Safe2Meet is not responsible for delays or failures in message delivery caused by third-party providers or carrier networks.
